Most common cause of heating failure is the heater valve mounted on the panel under the bonnet between the engine and the base of the windscreen around £20 from ebay but they nornally fail in the full heat position! but if it's the fan thats failed and it only works on position 4 it's the resistor pack failed and thats mounted behind the trim panel in the passenger footwell
