how can i fix my zanussi fj1296 washing machine?

i need to replace the drum bearings on a zanissi fj1296,any info would be very useful.

probably a bit late but bearing kits are available for about £30 or less it is a fairly straight forward job but you need to note and mark the position of bits as you disconect them from the drum which has to be removed before you can split it to replace the faulty parts it is just like replacing the hub bearings on a car so a friendly mechaniic would find it easy if you gave him the drum once removed The drum literally "hangs" on a pair of springs with the bottom supported in a pair of shock absorbers the lumps of concrete are just for ballast and unbolt easily.TIP change the motor brushes at the same time they are cheap and easy to fit ,if they wear out they WILL wreck the motor
