replace the carbon brushes o?

i am trying to find out how to replace the carbon brushes on a Hotpoint WMA36 washing machine (but can't find them,) the cycle will not complete
and the machine will not spin, hence the water will not drain, am I looking at the correct fault?

The machine will not spin unless the water has drained away.sounds more like a drain pump issue than a motor issue
