repair of cord reel?

Electrolux Epic 6500 SR. How do I remove rear panel for access to power cord reel. Broke plug from power cord, power cord now inside reel. Any help appreciated. Thank You

The plastic strips on the sides of the canister slide out, toward the front of the machine. Use a flat screwdriver to encourage them out, along with a pliers to pull with. It will be stubborn if never taken apart before.
