vauxhall omega seems powerless?

i have a vauxhall omega 2.5 v6 24v on a 99 plate. recently it seems to be reving higher than it should when accelerating and there doesnt seem to be much power. how can i fix the problem?

I assume the vehicle has manual trasmission fitted? Stick/standard or whatever else it's called around the globe.
Sounds like the clutch is slipping, and due for replacement. Quite expensive, as the transmission needs to be removed.
Although the part does wear with mileage along with the brakes, tyres etc.. bad driving habbits will damage it quickly!
