My battery light has just started showing on my Rover25 IS?
The battery light started showing yesterday and will not go off. had problems with my battery about a year had to buy a new one. Is the a common problem or do you think i might have serious problem with the battery or something else.
More likely the alternator,is the belt tight ? slack? is the belt there at all ? put a test meter over battery terminals when engine is running...look for 13-14.5 volts, if not alternator is knacked. get a reconed one.
