How can I stop my curtains sticking on the plastic track?

I have curtains with plastic fasteners and the stick when I attempt to draw the curtains, does anybody have any ideas to help the plastic glide better?

Washing up liquids and spray polishes will gunge up over a short time, use a silicone spray. Usually available from your local curtain shop

One way to help your curtains glide more easily is to smear a small amount of washing up liquid along the rail, this should help fix the problem and make the gliders run more smoothly, if that doesnt do the trick it could be time for a new track, they're not usually that expensive and can be put up in a few minutes

Spray the track with spray polish like Mr Sheen or similar. Works a treat.
