how do you bypass a laguna immobiliser?

i have a 1994 (m) laguna 1.8rt 8v. the button on the remote has broken and i can't get it started. i don't want to spend any more money replacing the key as i'm scrapping the car when the mot runs out early next year. any help will be appreciated.
