RED DIESEL?

Before I start: I am aware RED DIESEL use on roads is illegal and mainly used in farm vehicles and other off road commecial vehicles.

What make it harmful to use in road vehicle ie: Trucks and cars, is it the die?. We all know were being stitched up by the taxes and lately oil sheiks in price per barrel, so why is diesel so costly at the pump when its cheaper to manufacture than petrol? or so I'm told.
I need some ammunition for an arguement on this subject.

Oil sheiks! to see is believing what pictures have been sent to me showing an oil sheiks house 15 mercs and one made of silver, yes silver.
Many thanks in anticipation someones going to reply.

As has been said red diesel will not harm a DERV (Diesel Engined Road Vehicle) BUT the dye in it WILL stain the internals of the IC system. If HMRC find any trace of that die in a DERV they have the powers to seize the vehicle as well as heavily fine the perpetrator - and they WILL do it!

As to why fuel is so dear, the oil sheiks are the last people to blame. They are so filthy rich because the sell so much of the stuff. Here are the people more to blame: Oil companies, oil speculators, Governments (tax).

Its the same basic fuel with a non removable colour additive - it will work perfectly in any diesel unit. Its not as good as BP's Ultimate which has cetane improvers though.
The rest of your question can only be answered by our politicians.....
