i want to test the stater motor on a aprilia habana 50 moped. the starter button works and the new relay makes a noise. where is the starter? anyone?

ur solonoid has 2 big read leads/wires .one goes to the battery other goes to startet.placing a screwdriver or similar across these 2 terminals efectivly temporaly joining them will bypass everything and spin the motor(it will spark a bit)no spin?screwed starter.follow lead to find locatio of motor.
