My Rowenta DX8600 professional iron no longer heats how can I fix it?

I have had my Rowenta iron for 18 months I use my iron every day and need to have it repaired now, can I do the repairs myself?or is there someone in my area who can?

I read that it may be a faulty fuse.The twin cities area has no small appliance repair centers so I have no idea how to find a new fuse!!!! Frustrating - - -
