changing a blade boss?

got a new blade boss to fit because the pins to hold the blade in place had sheared off. Is it hard to fit a new one and do i need any special tools?

In theory, no. The old boss should pull off the shaft and the new one will just push on.

In practise, you will probably need a puller.
