When switiching on the gas oven the ignition continues to spark until the burner in the oven has full flame ..any ideas what the cause and fix is ..?

lil' ray - The oven burner flame in the area of the sparker was very low, so using a needle I cleaned out the jet holes, this increaeed the flame size and problem resolved. Thank you for your help.

the spark and sensor are the same unit. first try to clean off the sparker and make sure there is a good flame hitting it, try changing the burners around to see if the problem moves.
or you made need a replacement ignitor or switch . Always turn off the power to the unit before opening the covers.
