I did it on a 1994 caravan by purchasing a bracket and idler pully for a non airconditioned van also required a different size belt, the dealer had all the info I needed.

I have by passed a ac comppressor before by using a smaller serp belt but also have ran into where it runs the water pump backwards ...possably put dummy comppressor in line
