how would i remove the disc to show the shoes

first you need to loosen the two t30 torques found on the front of the drum then open the brake fluid resevoir now push back the rear pads. on the back of the caliper you will find a 17" bolt and a 6mm allen key bolt undo these and tie the caliper off safely so not to snap the brake pipe now remove the t30 torque screws completely and you should be able to just pull the drum off (sometimes it may need a tap round the edge with a copper mallett make sure you hit the drum and not the edge of the disc has this could damage it ) assembly is the reverse

hope this helps
