My Fridge does not work on Electric Mains & I cannot remove?

I have an Adria Atea with Fridge which stopped working on mains Electric but works on gas. I havwe removed the 4 off side fixing screws but the fridge is still solidly fixed. I cannot therfore check Thermal switch or element. Have you any experience of removing fridge from this make and model please

The fridge may be held in place still by the gas supply pipe, this needs to be disconnected, and usually there is a sealing plate fitted at the top rear of the fridge, taking the screws out of this can help. dont forget to carry out a soundness check on the gas system after you have refitted the fridge.

You can access the back of the fridge by removing the two vents on the outside of the outfit. Normally held in with a couple of Phillips screws or a plastic 1/4 turn screw (use a 5p or 2p coin). Some of them may however, be nicely in with mastic, so if so, make sure you have some before pulling it off! (Unibond mastic has a 25year guarantee, and is what most caravan engineers use now.)
