When I try to unscrew the pump cover the external part of the cover becomes detached from the internal part of the cover and I therefore have no access to the interior of the pump to clean it. Does anyone have any suggestions as to how I can stop the two parts separating so that I can get to the interior to clean it.

ur pumped has object inside or limescale sometimes u have to break it sorry use snipe nose plyers and bash 2 holes in it and then turn buy new one
