m6 ford fiesta 1.4 zetec speedo sensor?

how do you remove and fit a new speedo sensor on a mk6 fiesta do you have to remove gearbox or can you get to it from above the engine.

hi its on the gearbox i think its near the back of it
and usually its a metal pin thing you pull out to replace it
the sensor is black plastic

Hi Jake, the sensor is removed from the top of the engine/gearbox, if you look at the joint between the engine & gearbox towards the rear you will see the sensor, just disconnect the electrical connector and then unscrew the sensor, refitting is the reverse
