oil sensor on corsa c?

so, tappets making a noise so i have change the oil and fillter and still making the noise but now the oil light keeps coming on when your not moving, i think the corsa must get some condistion in with the oil and blocking the cam sharft!! so i would like to know how easy or not it would be to take out and clean? please!! corsa c 1.2 sxi 03 57000 miles

The chances are that you damaged the oil pressure switch when changing the oil filter, thats why it is leaking from there and if its leaking oil it will mean the engine is not running at normal oil pressure and stopping the camshaft hydaulic tappets from working properly, replace the low oil pressure switch before you start pulling out the camshaft

thanks, oil is leaking from the oil sensor which would be the weekest point if the cam shartf is gummed up?

If you want to remove the camshaft I suggest you get a "Haynes" type manual £20 or try your local library, but condensation will not of caused this fault and the tappets are hydraulic so if they are making a noise then one or more is gummed up (lack of oil changes)
