VECTRA - air bag light - has come on after removing the steering wheel?

Just had to remove the steering wheel on 2000 1.8 and took all rec. precautions with air bag. Now the lights on and the one touch function of the elec windows has stopped (they still work normally though).
Any thoughts

Thanks for the advice - yes did disconnect - will have to attend the dealer!

THE ONLY WAY TO GET LIGHT TO GO OFF IS A RESET AT VAUX DEALER IM AFRAID DID YOU NOT DISCONNECT BATTERY FIRST FOR AT LEAST A MINUTE
