Ford Mondeo 2002 rear brake caliper?

i am changing the rear brake pads and discs on my 2002 mondeo, however i am having problems getting the piston back into the caliper, it doesnt seem as easy as pushing it back in and is difficult to screw in is there a certain tool needed to do this?????????

what is a break caliper and how easey is it to repair

Yes, a piston retractor tool is really the way to go here - it turns as well as pushes. Laser do one for about £18. You may be able to get away with a 'G' cramp and some slip joint pliers, but you risk damaging the dust seal on the caliper.
