Removing the chuck from Bosch PSB 24 VE-2?

I need to replace the keyless chuck on my Bosch PSB 24 VE-2. I have removed the locking screw inside the chuck and set the gear train to 'drill' as per the Bosch instructions but the chuck will not come off. Does it screw off, in which case which way? Or does it pull off, in which case how do you attach a puller?
Would be gratefull for any help as I don't want to throw away over £100 worth of drill for the sake of a chuck.

Many thanks, worked for me!

tighten an allen key into the chuck(short leg) and give the long leg a good smack anticlockwise usually does it
