Vauxhall Vectra stuttering when accelerating?

I have an N reg 1.8 petrol Vauxhall Vectra. When accelerating, in any gear, the car stutters/judders or feels like it is running on 3 cylinders before 'kicking in'.

I have replaced all spark plugs and checked the HT leads are working.

Can anyone help or have any ideas on where to start to diagnose the problem. Any help/advice appreciated.

Thought I'd answer my own question in case anyone is searching to solve a similar problem.

I replaced the HT leads and that solved the problem.
