hi sometimes when you rev it up it only goes to 4000 or 40000 revs there is also a spanner with a car showing also there is a light on which i think is the management light i was told it was doing this because it was the petrol management system could you please help me

Yes this means the engine ecu has detected a fault and it needs investigating asap, get it connected to a diagnostic code reader asap most tyre & exhaust places have the kit
