What sort of clutch does my Renault Clio have ?

I would like to know what sort of clutch my 01 Y reg Renault Clio Grande has ? ie hydraulic or cable
and is it possible to adjust it as Im not sure if it is slipping slightly. It seems to be ok changing gear but pulling away causes me problems.
Ive had the car since april and I still seem to be stalling it quite often - I have never had this problem with any of my other cars and normally get used to different clutches quite quickly, so Im wondering if its me or the car !?!

how high is the pedal from fully up before u feel the bite?on a clutch thats almost gone its very close to the top of the pedal travel,ie foot almost off.and a worn clutch usually is easier to use and harder to stall, curious.evil test is this, hand brake FULLY ON and try to pull away in first gear if the clutch is almost gone then u will not stall,u will induce clutch slip.WARNING.this test will vastly reduce life of an almost worn clutch possibly terminal for clutch
