Our Proline TDC6A Tumble dryer has no heat but still runs, the elements look ok but are not heating up. The thermostst looks like 2 circular discs above the elements could they be the problem?
I have a proline TDC6a but find that things take very long to dry. It does heat up but obviously not hot enough. I find a load of towels will take anything up to 4 hours to dry which is too long I believe. Please can you tell me what I can do to resolve this?

when looking on espares website, there is a cheaper (universal) option than the £16.36 one, which resulted in paying £7.44 including P&P.

This is an easy repair and does not require any wiring diagram. Below are details of the part number, cost and postage costs. Available from www.espares.co.uk call 0845 230 6230
The thermostats look the same but are not. Both must be replaced at the same time and replace like for like. The Proline TDC6A has one with a green dot on.
