Hi, my washing machine won't spin properly. When it goes into spin mode, the drum turns slowly and makes a mechanical "churning" noise and won't go into a fast spin.
Does anyone have any idea what the problem might be?
I have checked for blockages and there doesn't seem to be any blockages. The main display doesn't appear to be displaying any error code either. I have tried it on different power settings 800, 900 etc but it doesn't seem to make any difference. I suspect there may be something stuck inside the drum, but wanted to check first before calling out the engineer.
Any advice would be much appreciated,

spin the drum empty by hand.if it moves freely then there is nothing trapped.if it rumbles when turned then suspect bearing(expensive repair).if no noise is heared when drum rotated then look at the motor brushes incase they have worn out.
