corsa wont start?

i changed ignition barrell now the car turns over but wont fire. wen i put a drop of fuel in carb. it fires but wont run help pls!!

I don't know for sure but mabye has an immobiliser built into key & barrel like most modern cars...it will turn over but not catch if a copy key is used but not paired with the barrel.
