Dishwasher dishlex 302 not filling. What is wrong and how can I fix it?

My 4 year old Dishwasher Electrolux Dishlex 302 is not filling with water. It just beeps non stop. We have checked the filter and the hose etc and there appears to be no blokage, at least we can't see or feel any. Any tips?

solenoid switch allowing water entry is not working.Replace it should be found after inlet hose - inside machine.
