I have a 1984 CAMPER VAN

the ball and socket joint to the gear box has worn
and I have to replace as i can't change gears
can get the parts how easy or hard to replace
myself

If you get new parts it`s an easy diy job. just time consuming lining up the rods. The best way is when removing the originals mark the shafts and the old joints. Copy the marks onto the new joints and align them on the shafts when re-fitting. Should be a straight forward job but you may have to fine tune. thats how I did my own.
