hello,
i have just purchased a yamaha jog rr 2004,
i noticed that the electric start does not work so i have changed the bike's battery and also the fuse but the electric start still does not work.
do you have any idea's on what the problem could be?

Just had the same problem with mine. Pleases see post! Anyway found the problem to be behind the Headlight. There is a connector that leads from the battery to the ignition barrel which was corroded inside. I cut the connector and soldered the cables together and it worked a treat! Only problem I have now Is I think the regulator has gone as it discharges the battery!

Usually with bikes, you have to hold down the brake in order to use it. Apply pressure onto the back brake and hold the starter down. If no luck then Change the battery and/or spark plugs or just give them a clean. It could be anything, but these are the most common problems people get wrong.
Also the Starter Fuse... it may ave blown. Just check it out.
