help, indesit dg6100w problem?

Hi all I need some help, my dg6100w takes about five hours to do a wash and is now cutting out the electric in the house?. It also seems to get really hot, any ideas?

Not filling with water properly, have tried tilting the machine back and it will then work. Have read that it could be a problem with the sensor and that this is located on the right hand side under kick plate but can't see how to remove this plate. Can anyone help please. Thank you

just read somewhere else that it is likely that the heating element is at fault - timer won't advance until temperature is reached, also if rotors get jammed (or blocked) this will cause element to fail
