Hotpoint tumble dryer not condensing?

I have a condensing tumble dryer and it doesn't collect water in the tank anymore. The tank is not leaking out of the drain pipe.

I wonder if the condenser is not working as the dryer still gets hot and works but more slowly than before (it needs two runs per load now). Can you shed some light on it please?

Hi roger your start relay is faulty,If you unplug it take off the top cover the start relay is just behind the console panel, the brown box with about six wires on it

I hope that helps.

Try taking the condenser out into the garden and give it some serious hosepipe action, I mean the condenser and not the whole dryer LOL. While you have the condenser out of unit look in the cavity to see if it is bunged up.

had the same problem with our TC650 found the condenser was all wet and bunged up. Cleaned it out work OK for a few days now when you press the start button it works until you let the button go.
