I have white grout between the tiles in my bathroom, and some of them are now stained a sort of copper colour, which wont be shifted with elbow grease. Any ideas?
I use a small steam cleaner on full it wont get rid of years old dirt but if you use this every 4 months or so from new it will keep it clean for years

try bicarbonate of soda and white vinigar and scrub.Saw it on how clean is your house.

The only way to get a clean grout is to rake out the old and regrout the tiles, a bit of elbow grease never hurt anyone.

I have this problem and it keeps coming back.
Spray neat bleach onto the grout. (cover the carpet and your face)
Takes a couple of hours to work but it will clean even black mold. Don't rub it away untill its changed colour or it will mark the grout even more.

I had same problem. Suggest soaking in bleach and leaving over night. Then scrub with nail brush (or similar). This worked for me.
good luck.
