sigma m30 fob not working?!?

Can anyone help a lady in distress?
My sigma m30 fob for my scoob (01 bugeye) flashes 3 times when pressed (instead of flashing once.) The only way to arm/disarm alarm is via keypad. Tried reprogramming fob, still flashes 3 times!
Does anyone know why??????

You can get a new remote fob on ebay for around £20:00 - with the reprogramming instructions
