engine stall once a day?

In the morning my Rover 25 starts first time i pull away get to the end of the road drop the clutch and the engine stops.
start her up again after a few turns of the starter motor and pull away again, i have no trouble again for the rest of the day, runs beautifully.
Next morning same again
Noone can find a fault as it only happens once a day in the morning
Anyone any ideas ?

this sounds like the old carb fault where fuel condensed onto the inside of the intake manifold causing an exessively rich mixture .if so then the fault lies in the air intake temp sensor.it may not even show up as a fault in the engine diagnostics as for the most part no fault exists.id have the injector ultrasonicly cleaned and if no joy id renew intake air temp sensor
