How can I fix my Canon NP1020 copier?

The copier in my church doesn't get much use. Now, if multiple copies are made the first one out is fine but as the remaining copies come out the image is moved down the page. The image is perfect, just in the wrong place.

Hello Tommy,
I too have a NP1020 printer. It is used at a private school where my wife works. With limited funds, hardly worth sending out for repair. I'm sorry I can't help you with your dilema, but I am in need of an owner's manual. Our printer is flashing E0 and will not print. I guess I am asking if you have an owner's manual and what does the E0 mean? Hope you don't think this as too bold for me. Can't find any info on the internet. Thanks ....

it sounds like the registration roller is sticking. This roller holds the paper until the image is ready and then releases the paper to meet the image. It will need stripping and cleaning.
