My neighbors brought me this mower last weekend to put a new drive belt on it,no biggie then i installed the drive belt which is what the manufactuer calls for and it has slop in the belt and then i told them and they handed me a spring they say fell off it.I have tried everything imaginable to hook the spring to put tension on the belt but no luck.A pdf or blown up repair manual or parts list of the drive system would help immensly.Thanks alot,

I had the same problem my friend. Get a metal clothes hanger and stick it through the hole on the side frame of the mower so that you can still hook the end of the spring. You will need to "custom bend" the hanger for this to work. Pull the clothes hanger until the end of the spring comes through the hole. It is tough but it works! Even if it doesnt hook the spring where it needs to go you can use needle nose pliers to position it in the locking hole. Hope this helps someone!
