Electrolux Epic 8000SR vacuum, on switch not connecting. Solution?

On Electrolux Epic 6000SR, how to get to the on/off switch to repair?
The body is molded plastic, comes apart OK. The switch button looks like it would snap off to get to the switch. Can't find a release, or what do you remove to get at the switch?

ALMOST EVERY THING INSIDE THE MACHINE IS HELD INTO PLACE BY GROVES,PLASTIC POSTS HOLD THE CONTROL VALUE (THE THING W/THE CLEAR HOSES ATTACHED). IN OTHER WORDS FRICTION.IF THERE ARE NO SCREWS (I HAVEN'T TAKEN ONE APART IN A WHILE) GRAB HOLD OF IT AND PULL. TAKE PICS OF EVERY STAGE,'CAUSE YA GOTTA PUT IT BACK TOGETHER.
GOOD LUCK!
