Cannon 1000 professional - how can I fix oven?

I have a cannon professional 1000 with fan assisted oven and conventional oven. The fan assisted oven is not getting u to temeprature, the fan is working and the light is on etc but it doesn't get above 50 dgrees or so. Rest of cokker - hobs, conventional oven etc all working fine. Is there a fuse or thermostat I need to replace?

Thanks very much for your advice. Now cooking a roast in a fully working fan oven - cost me £8 and 15 minutes to fit thanks to you!

Hi, have just replaced the element - it works a treat again!!! hubby says very easy to change, just take out the side runners and remove 4 screws holding the back plate in (he discovered that after dragging the cooker out completely!!). only took about 15 mins to do.
I got mine off ebay (seller - appliancesparesuk) - next day delivery for £4.99 plus about £3 p&p - had seen it elsewhere for £31.95 + vat + delivery!! used the ref no. 10455G for some reason not listed at the Cannon professional.
hope you get it sorted soon - so much better that the little oven!!

gypsyladykate!

Thanks, I was guessing it might be the element. I would be very interested to see how you get on, ease of putting new element in etc. At least we have a back up oven but things take so much longer to cook!

I have the same cooker with the exact same problem. hubby reckons it is the element that has gone so I have found a replacement on ebay for about £7 in p&p. (it is listed under a different number rather than 1000)(found that by looking on lots of websites about the oven) will let you know if that cures it when it gets here!!
