you need to REMOVE as much WATER as possible before trying the next bit.
Drain EXCESS water off by gravity in to a bowl, may have to EMPTY bowl 4 or 5 times
possible blocked filter, hotpoint hide them in the bottom of the black sump hose connected to the bottom of the outer drum, (prepare for some water spillage with a old towel HANDY) Now check/clean the rest of the hoses and pump that lead to the stand pipe outlet. (a new pump maybe required)
