Hello,

It has started leaking from the bottom, so ive removed the plastic box, and sussed out it is leaking from plastic pipe that the metal hose is attached to. There is a small knob thing sticking out towards the wall behind the plastic tube, and it is leaking from there.

A small plastic ball popped out from it, and when i put it back in its still leaking...

It has happened before, and I got a plumber to come, but i really dont want to do that again, when he only took 3 mins to fix it (but ive forgotton what he did!)...

Any suggestions?

Hi Zoe,
I have just finished fixing a gainsburgh 10.5 SCL,
after trawling the web for information.

I removed the plastic pipe that the hose attaches to,
put the little ball back into the small tube/knob that sticks out towards the wall,
then using a small stick/cotton bud pushed the ball firmly into the hole.

To test the ball is secure, cover one end of the tube with your hand and blow into the other.
If the ball stays, its secure (be careful where you aim whilst you do it, in case you lose the ball.
