Gainsborough PS1200 pump failure?!?

Hi, I have a Gainsborough PS1200 and when we turn the shower on, we don't hear any pump or motor. We have water coming out, but the pressure is quite poor. Do we need a replacement pump, or would pump failure mean that the shower wouldn't work at all?

Many thanks,

Jamie

if the brushes have worn in the motor which is most common they are replacable for £12.00 + fitting

Everything else works in terms of switching from cold to hot, but the pressure is not able to be changed. I will look at a replacement unit. Thanks for your help, much appreciated!

Yep, you need a replacement pump...presuming the switches etc are working! Its debatable if the repair is economically viable though - maybe consider a new unit?
