hi,iv an aprilia rs125 full power 2002,i was riding for 2-3hrs on sunday,bike was running great.i stopped at a freinds house for an hour or so.when i stoppd i turnd the feul off.i left my friends and the bike startd first time.i got about 1 mile down the road and the bike cut out,i realised id turnd the feul to reserve.when i turnd the feul on the wudnt start and hasnt run since.its sparking and seems to be getn petrol(i cn smell it)after turning the starter for a while there is a back fire every so often.pleas help me!!

definitley true i have a 94 extrema exactually the same but mine wont spark at all now so im gonna buy a new stator

thankx for the comments.its really startn to bug me!changed the plug to an ngk iridium,changed the feul,cleand the tank filter,inlet filter to the carb,idle and starter jet.if anyone has any ideas it would be appreciated.i joind the dps site,whats the chances of a discount on a 34mm carb now?lol.thankx

Hi mate i work for dp racing, you need to get a new br9 iridium sparkplug and give your air filter a good clean.

sometimes spark plugs spark when you check them but when you actually put them back in they wont. i had the same problem buy a new plug and it should be alright
