how can I replace the new motor into the cleaner, without damaging the unit?

Hi,
Just go to www.dyson-online.com and look at their technical advice section. The site is fantastic! Good luck.

It is possible to get the motor out, but you will need a special Torx screw driver, and some determination. When you get the motor housing out, you will need to prise the grey spokelike side plate and the push down on the spindel on the opposite side (remove belt first).
