how do i fix my door?

The seat belt got caught in the door so i gave it a tug now the door on my 106 wont open.The catch lifts up a little with the key and from inside but not fully.Its as thou its just catching on something.Please help.

The same occured on my mondeo, in the end I had to force it, this damaged the belt by leaving a black oily mark, but was the only resolution.
