I got a 10m length of cable after removing old cable, but I find there are no marks on the connecting block to show which one takes the blue and which the brown. I don't have the manual anymore. Any help would be appreciated.

Looking at the (now) opened up handle section with the cutting blade pointing to your left and the qualcast brand label the correct orientation to read in a normal way then the brown goes to left (closet to the power button) the and the blue goes to the right. I got this info by opening up mine for you!
