hi can any of you help me please.i just brought a transit fwd low roof and wen i change gear to snd sometimes it crunches but it allways goes in and pulls nicely.i have bin told it may be the gearbox linkage.also my starter is sort of dieing still works tho.is that a sign of anything? do you think i need a new box or a few things replaced.plz plz plz help me as i am real worried now thanks billy

hi the early new shape transit had adjustable gear linkage cables. you access them from under the van . there will be 4 clips holding a black plastic cover on
