what drive shaft do i need?

i have a 1997 saxo 1.1i that needs a new nearside drive shaft. problem is i'm told there is different types shaft on the same model and year car. can anyone tell me how i can get the right type and identify it by sight please?

take it off go to your nearest breaker yard you might find that a peugeot 106 drive shaft might fit if not main dealer take car mega money good luck
