hi my alarm is in tamper mode someone put number in 3 times and now it dose nothing at all all sensers are still lighting door chimes not buzzing when opened .battery back up still works when electrics off. its a melcom st600.. can anyone help as the company who fitted have now gone bust?

I really don't know why people answer with go to my favourite web site, yes I do, they don't know the answer.

If the code has been entered three times in fairly quick succession the panel will see this as an attempt to 'find' the code and go into a TAMPER condition.

I would guess by now that long enough has elapsed since this fault arose, so put the correct number in again now - remember, first time is ON, second time is OFF, like turning a key - on/off should reset this tamper fault.

That is, if my understanding of the question is correct
